Environmental Policy

* As Soma Chemistry, we act with the awareness that sustainable development passes through 'Sustainable Environment' and we carry out all our works within the framework of 'respect for nature'.

* We effectively implement and develop the 'Environmental Management System', which we have established in accordance with environmental legislation and ISO 14001 Standard requirements, with the participation of all our employees.

* We collaborate with our subcontractors and the surrounding community to raise awareness of our environmental responsibilities and ensure their participation in all our work and to raise environmental awareness.

* We constantly communicate with our employees, suppliers and customers to reduce the environmental impact of our activities and improve our environmental performance.

* Within the framework of technical and economic possibilities, we use energy and natural resources in the most efficient way with more recyclable raw materials and appropriate technologies that have less environmental impact at the end of their useful life.

* By taking all measures to prevent environmental pollution, we ensure that waste is minimized and recycling is supported through agreements with authorized recycling companies.

* We evaluate recycling and reuse alternatives by reducing the waste that may be generated as a result of production transportation, storage, operation, treatment and maintenance activities.

* We consider all environmental impacts in new product and process designs.

* We share our environmental studies and information obtained with all relevant internal and external parties in accordance with the principle of transparency.

* We keep environmental impacts under control by complying with all environmental legislation to protect and sustain our environment.

* To continuously improve our environmental performance by reducing environmental impacts and to leave a livable clean environment for future generations by realizing all Production activities with 'Operational Business Excellence' with this awareness.

* Protecting the environment by preventing or mitigating adverse environmental impacts.

* Reducing the potential negative impacts of environmental conditions.

* To fulfill legal and other obligations and ensure compliance.

* Prevent unintentional increase in environmental impacts over the entire product/service life cycle, including design, manufacture, distribution, consumption and disposal.
